Hi guys, I have a 20 gal AIO tank for about few weeks. Used turbostart to cycle my tank and have fish and corals now. Everything's running great. My problem is figuring out the lights for my tank. I have mostly lps corals and one of them is turning lighter in color. Not as rich in saturation anymore. Is my light too strong? I have a AI prime 16 with blues maxed out and cool light to 10%. Please help:)

Hey Tim welcome to the club! I wouldn't max out the blues like that. Have you checked out the presets on the ai website?

Hey thanks for replying. Yes I have and its confusing. They don't explain why they chose their type of schedule. Why can't I have the blues maxed out? I'm gonna send a photo of what I have now. Let me know what you think:)

I don't really like any of the channels maxed out since that will overwork that one channel and it'll have issues sooner than necessary.

For my ai prime I just downloaded all of the presets and used each one for a day or 2 before I landed on the one I liked. Then I adjusted that one a bunch to my liking

Thanks for the tip! I'm gonna use this for now, I redid it a bit. If I don't see positive feedback from my corals, I'll hopefully be able to learn from the downloaded ones. One more question, what's uv and v light for? I know blues are for corals health and growth but how does uv and v help?

What LPS is it and what are your parameters?
Hammer, frogspawn, candy cane, acan, and a hollywood stunner. Also have 1 rhodactis shroom and a zoa frag. As far for parameters, I'm doing just water changes weekly and salinity at .24-.25. I attached my schedule I'm using currently. Any advice will help:)

Which one are you concerned about?
Hollywood stunner chalice. Got a bit faded in color. I keep him on the sand under the light. Where it's most intense rather than the side of my tank.

Chalices generally like low light. You might consider moving it.
