LPS losing color after shipment

I received a big shipment of LPS and they look amazing in the bag and the first two days. However a few days later the colors are very dull and look nothing like they did just a couple days ago. Is this normal?

Did you light acclimate or dip them? Sounds like they are bleaching?

What kind of lighting are you using? They may be adjusting to your lights. Try shading them a bit and slowly acclimating them to your lighting.

They are in a shady spot in the corner of the tank. Did not dip. They are Turning dark not light. For example the blues turned dark purple.

T5s and LEDs close to what the seller had then at. Could it just be shipping stress? Or just getting used to the light?

They are probably adjusting to your tank, a lot of coral lose a little color after shipping. Some get it back, some don't, and some completely change. If you don't see recession you are probably ok.

I've had this issue with many wild LPS especially Acans. Leds can shift the colors of LPS sometimes too.

If the lights are similar, then maybe its supplemental?

Just a shot in the dark, but when I started using Amino's, perhaps selcon too, I thought I noticed better coloration/PE.

I would leave em alone if no tissue recession as bct15 said.

They look super happy. Just the colors turned darker and and not as vibrarnt. Kinda like you last an acan with light and it just turns red. I'm just hoping the colors come back. Basically a $300 acan turned into a $20 plane acan.

The seller hand him in his tank for over a year. I'm hoping it's just shipping stress and they will color up again.
