tank is 10 months old parameters are below on tuesday i got 3 corals a Symphyllia a Trachyphyllia and a zoa rock but the lps arent doin so well they dont seem to be inflating and one of them seems to be turning white on the edges the zoa rock is doin great they are under a 168W blackbox lcd about 6-8 inches from the water surface and the tank is 28" high they are on the sand bed atm the only other corals i have is gsp thats growing and doing well

lights are about 50-60% intensity its hard to get an exact number as these blackbox lcds just have dials that dont show % lol

calc 420
dkh 11.8

Alk seems kinda high.. that might explain the deflated look. They need to adjust I am sure.

But with them in the tank for only a few days and the location of the damage I am going with .. got beat up during shipping. How were they packed when you received them?

styrofoam box with a heating pack each coral was in a bag with water the zoa rock was actually broken when i opened it but i didn't mind

What kind of water flow are they getting? Reducing the flow a bit might help with them inflating
where they are sitting right now on the sand they get moderate flow maybe i can try moving to an area of the sand with less flow if they still arent opening up in the next day or two thanks for all the suggestions btw

If you are dsong, id pull of and get alk down.
High salinity can be an issue if youre getting a false reading. Zoa do well with moderate light and flow and iodine added occasionally.

well i believe i have figured it out my coral beauty is nipping at it only the first coral in the picture she didnt touch the second one looks like shes turned my coral into an expensive snack not really sure theres much i can do other then removing her and thats gonna be tough
