Ok so I've had this Torch coral since April of this year, I've put it in high light, low light, direct flow, non existent flow, medium flow, and it still to this day has never opened up. I have the sane exact torch I bought a month before and it is beautiful. I also have 2 frogspawn that are doing great as well. Any suggestions?

Looks to have lots it's zooxanthellae, without those dinoflagellates the coral will basically wither away secondary to insufficient nutrition.

You could try feeding it a fine sea food slurry, maybe some amino acids, but honestly it looks like a lost cause. It happens unfortunately.

Did I cause that too happen, or was the coral funky to begin with? Sorry for asking dumb questions but I'm a newbie
