Hey everyone! So long time lurker first post. About a month ago after dipping and adding some new additions to the tank, we started losing acans and chalices and a really nice petunia melted in about a day. They would RTN in 48 hours. Lost a lot of corals in the few days after and things seem to slow but not stop. All the loses were new additions but now some acans that we have had for about a year and symphilla are showing similar signs. The pictures below show the end result and progression. I've tried dipping and so far it seems to slow but not stop. Everything I can test for us in range and had it double tested by a lfs, which also has never seen anything of this nature. Currently waiting on furan2 to be delivered and going to try dipping with that. I know it's mostly for zoa pox but I'm running out of ideas.

Im wondering if your water is to clean
Also what lights do you run ?
What do you use for nutrient removal ?
:)

May I ask, why are you dipping your corals? Do you see something on them that is a concern? The only time I dip corals is when I first receive them. From that on... unless there is a critter I want to get rid of... I don't dip.

How old is your tank? What kind of lighting? What is your light cycle? What are your parameters - Nitrates, Phophates, Alkalinity, Calcium, PH... temp..... etc. Do you use RODI? When was the last time stuff was replaced?

These are the kinds of things that can help people here help you.

They were new additions that's why they were dipped. Tank is a year old, black box leds. Nitrates around 10ppm, I have to dose nitrates to keep dinos at bay. Phosphates around 0.02, alk 8.5, calc 400. I can only check ph with a pen no controller, but its normally around 8.11. I replaced all the RO/DI media after this event started, replaced the ATO container, salt mixing container, and even threw out the salt itself. None of the SPS, anemones, a giant elegance coral or softies seem to be impacted by any of this. I ran a polyfilter for about a week after this started and it didn't change colors at all. Its a 32 gallon biocube led with the stock led hood removed, the media chamber in the back has just been converted to a fuge with chaeto on a reverse light cycle.
