Hey guys, I am a fan of blue light in reef tanks. I keep a lot of fluo corals and love to watch them under a more blue light rather then white. My tank is a mixed reef with a sps overhand.
I have a par meter and I am getting close to 400 par at top and 100 par at the bottom.
Tank is running 6 months, and all is thriving. Minimum los of corals so far..
I am wondering for experiences of other reefers under blue light for SPS and the growth. And to how it effects the growth of the coals overal. I have a Straton first generation standard lps settings and it’s running full blue and 140% white. That’s still a lot of white but far les if I check in sps for instance .. looking forward for ya experiences or vieuw on the matter.
Ps: some random shots of a few corals in my tank.
