I am having a lot of trouble with my LPS lately. They have been receding completely over the course of a few day to a few weeks and I have lost a ton of awesome pieces. Here are my most recent parameters from this past weekend when I tested.
Tank is a 75 gallon, 30 breeder sump
pH: 8.0
Calcium: 450
KH: 8.5
Mag: 1100 (dosed over the course of the week to bring it up, observing no changes. I know it takes time but I thought I would have seen some differences)
PO4: .12 (running GFO)
Ammonia, Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 20
I am running GFF replaced bi weekly.
Last water change was last week: 30 gallons.
Running .5 cup of Rox Carbon, BRS

The tank does get direct sunlight through a window, no algae problems but could that be causing this? It's also about time to replace my light bulbs so I have been buying those, could that be why? I'm really at a loss as to what to do. Here are some pictures

Flat worms?
I had what looked like 2 large flatworms on one of the torches i recently bought. I saw a head receeding while in yhe frag system.. And gave it a good look at the base of the soft tissue...and almost didn't notice them...they were a soft white color like the tissue under the head...i removed them manually and the head recovered in a few days. I did loose 1 head before i found the little buggers

I would start by replacing your light. I find I have lots of issues if I use my t5 bulbs to long. I replace them and everything is good again.

Looks like a bacterial infection? brown jelly. Is any thing picking at those corals. May be try a iodine or peroxide dip. Once they start melting like that it can be hard to stop it. Re check your your alk, salinity, temp? Maybe another water change and try to suck out the slime.

I would say your phosphates are the issue. It will prevent calicification and cause tissue recession. Lights wont cause recession usually until they are really old and your corals are starving.

Ok, so I will try and dip in a peroxide dip, replace the bulbs and keep running gfo. Now I heard and read lps like water a little dirtier. Is that true? If so, how much phosphate am I looking for?
Thanks for all the help!

i had this same thing happen to my tank over the past few months i lost all my acans half my cany canes and some other lps i had. but my sps and zoanthids grew fine. i still dont know what caused it my only guess was a alkalinity swing. i tried dipping and it did nothing. hopefully you figure it out.

I successfully had LPS with no3 of 10ppm without a problem.

I had the same thing happen to my tank, every parameter checked out fine.
lost all my Acans, blastos& frogspawn& duncans , that I had for over a year
I did several consecutive large volume wc(tank is a 220) changed salt brands& still no luck w Lps
I purchased a couple of cheap frags to test & see if things were ok over a period of 90 days, frogspawns r doing ok, blastos seem to be doing well but still cant keep Acans .
I hope someone here can shed some light on things

+1 phosphates are the issue. Shoot for at least 0.03

My lps was struggling until dosing potassium iodide, made a big difference for me personally. Sharing in the hope it can help someone else.
