Lps water quality

Don't think so, issue sometimes is when the water is way to clear, with use of excessive carbon(Rox did it for me) the light penetration in the water is higher, and can bleach easier corals. Other than that I don't believe so.

Im talking phosphate wise

Im talking phosphate wise

Phosphates below 0.02 is ideal most keep at zero. Too clean is generally used when nitrates fall below 5. Many lps perfer some nitrates in water. Keeping nitrates below 5 is not a game ender if you feed them. My nitrates have not been measurable in years. My lps are fine.

If they'll take direct feeding they'll do fine even in an ULNS tank. If they don't take direct feeding, they can still take very clean water just not totally stripped of phosphates/nitrates. I feed a blend of reef chili/reef roids/goniopower. However, most of my LPS are not too interested in that. They prefer direct feedings of either mysis or spectrum pellets.

Okay yeah feed them mysis

I believe that its a misconception that LPS need dirty tanks. On most wild reefs, phosphate and nitrate are even lower than some of the cleanest tanks in the industry. The difference is that the corals have access to a lot of food.

Fish waste is a great coral food, feed the fish more and the corals get more food. LPS pellets and mysis are good for direct feeding (if you feel that you need to).

Just be careful to stay within the limits of your filtration when doing this.
