LR hitch hikers, the good and bad?

so.... as I sit tankless and a few months into continued research, can't help but find one topic to be more of a grey area than others, live rock hitch hikers. One article calls one great to have so beneficial etc. ;and the next article says kill on site. Are there a concrete few that everyone deems as bad and good?

Just off the top of my head:

aptasia = always bad
Acro Eating Flat Worms (AEFW) = always bad
Bobbit worms= always bad
Mantis shrimp= always bad, well unless you purposely buy one and have it in a tank of its own

I agree with melypr and would add Mojano anemones to the list. I went through the same confusion a few months ago and I am by no means a complete newbie to the "hobby", just been away for an extended time. It's good that you are researching and taking your time before starting a tank. This hobby is about having patience and a general sense of what you would like to see in your tank. I would also add that it's a good idea to research reef societies in your area and join one. They're a tremendous source of info and support and I have found them to be very helpful to someone just starting out. Welcome to the obsession. Remember; the only stupid question is the one you don't ask.
