Lsoh and illuminati placement help

So I have my lsoh and illuminati in the same place as the rest of my zoa garden. Neither have gotten bigger or grown more polyps. It have been almost a year. Wanted some advice on where to place them for growth since the rest of the zoas are running wild. Thanks in advance.

LSOH grow slow is what I’ve heard. My Illuminati have grown 5 news heads in a month since I got a single polyp so I can’t help you there. They are on my sandbed

All of mine are on a flat rock on the sand bed. Just neither putting off new heads at all. Kinda odd since every other zoa growing like mad.

my LSOH colony loves bright(er) light. i have them on a 3" tile that's held by magnets on the side of my tank, placed at about 8" to 10" from the very top of the water level. its grown 4 to 5 new polyps in the past 3-4 weeks.

now the illuminati's can go from middle to bottom of the tank, depending on what size polyp you want to achieve. the lower or "shadier" the area of placement, the larger the polyps will be (IME), but commonly they reproduce decently fast ♡ good luck! they're some gorgeous zoas!

They’re two of the most expensive zoa there are. Most of the people I know who have them say they grow slow
