Lt. Tang blind!?

They did not want their picture taken. They were all over the place. Tried to get shots of both sides on each fish but it wasn’t happening.:)

Other fish seem A-ok. Quarantine the Lt Tang

That's great! Eating is a good sign. There's nothing that strikes more fear into the heart of an aquarist than a fish that stops eating. Well maybe there's one more thing... The sound of running water that isn't from a tap. :-) The experts will provide guidance. Keep us updated. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this guy. :-)

I just got home and he is still alive. I thawed some frozen food and fed him with a turkey baster. He did eat a little but not much. I’m gonna do a fresh water dip, I have the water heating up and aerating now. I read it might buy me some time until I get the things he needs.

I’d like to thank everyone for their help and advice. Today was a hard lesson I had to learn.
my fish did not make it. He died shortly after the dip.
I guarantee I will never experience that again as will none of the other fish I acquire over the years. It was very sad seeing that little guy in that state especially knowing that it was my responsibility to take care of him. Thanks again again everyone for your support. Happy Reefing and cheers.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Rest assured it has happened to all of us. Sometimes a situation unfolds so quickly that there isn't even time to respond. I'm still amazed they can go from fine to really bad in just a matter of days and in some cases just a day.

Thank you so much. It is very unfortunate. I’m very new to the hobby and I went all out with eyes wide shut. If I would have had the insight I would have bought a smaller system so I could have used the rest to prepare for things like this. I just feel for the little guy, he gets ripped from his home then shipped to wherever and ends up in my system that’s only a couple months old and has to go through that. It was a real eye opener at how fragile saltwater animals are. I’ve never seen anything like that before. Again thank you for your kindness. It makes it a lot harder to give it up when meeting people like yourself. It is a very interesting hobby and someday I’m sure it will be less stressful and more enjoyable. :)
