LTA and BTA in 20 gallon ?

Can they co-exist in a 20 w/o problems
At my LFS they have a (at max) 25g. They actually have green BTA and LTA mixed together. I wanna say they have about 8. Most seem fine but I noticed one attached itself to the side of the glass. The LTA actually hosts a good sized clown in that tank. Not sure about how it will mix with your current stock and rock work.

My tank isn’t set up just planning ahead. Just want to make sure I have no problems

I see. Just make sure it’s cycled properly beforehand. Anemones can be hard to take care of. Good luck!

As a suggestion, maybe start with one first. Then if everything is ok, add another later.

I keep telling myself to get one but I’ve never kept one before. I’ve got a (almost) 40g. I’m afraid my lighting wouldn’t be strong enough with my current light. My tank is 18” high.

What type of lights do you have ?

Lighting is my biggest weakness in this hobby... here’s the info

Ik so expensive... you might be able to get away with it but the nem is probably going to stay up high in the tank.

I just noticed this light is meant for 8-18” long. Mine is 30”. It was orinally on my 20 gallon before I upgraded.

I'm pretty good at killing everything I put in my tank EXCEPT my anemone..... he's a hearty guy.....

What are you wanting to keep James?

James, I've kept a nice big ole LTA, 2 BTA's and a lime green haddoni in a 45g RR cube for a year with no issues. Eventually, I moved the haddoni to my 93g RR Cube running a Radion G2 at the time.

Anemones seemingly leave each other alone. Once they put their foot down, they stay in that spot and just feed and bathe in the light. I’ve seen tanks where BTAs lived side by side and no issues.

2 clowns, lta , and BTAs...that’s all
And hoping they’ll host the clowns

The question isn't if they can coexist but more of size and space. I had a RBTA in a 29 gallon biocube and when it would stretch out it would be 12 - 15" tip to tip easy. Not much room left. It split one day and then two became to much. One thing lead to another and now we went from a single 29 gallon bio cube to two, then merged those into a 40 breeder and now 11+ RBTA's later we are in a 210 gallon tank.

So I think overall they will be fine but the tank size vs. animal size, well, I wouldn't do it for that reason.

That is my question....I’m not worried about the nems taking up space.
