So I purchased this anemone today and I was skeptical that it was a true LTA. I did not think LTA's had stripes.... I am very well aware of where this nem is from, my LFS refuses to get nems in because he claims they never live for him, but he never feeds them and keeps them under crappy conditions. So yes this nem is from PETCO sadly.

@AcroNem. I know you are sort of a nem freak[emoji6]

Looks like one to me. Tell tale sign are spots on the body like this.

Their looks to be some speckles. Hard to tell ATM. The foot looks the same.

I've seen LTAs with striping before - one was a deep green on top of it (though sadly unhealthy...).

Yours looks like a LTA to me - hope he stays healthy for you!

I think those are called "verrucae" - and yours has classic ones. Looks as though he's already digging into the sand, as well?

I had "buried" him in about 1" of sand. He has given me the finger and come back to the surface[emoji4]
