LTA placement question

I’m drip acclimating an LTA right now.

I have it spot prepped. A cove with an overhang available, rock work on one side, sand on the other. 4” deep sand in the cove.

Question is do I clear out a spot for it to attach to the glass bottom?

You can make a small indention in the sand as to where you would like the lta to stay it will work it’s foot down to attach. Just remember where you want it might not be where it wants to be.you want to watch it for a bit to make sure it’s moving down to attach it’s self and not being pushed around by your tanks flow

I'd guess to the right side by the flat rock would be good.
Just turn off pumps, scoop a well, bury it's foot, give it 15-30 minutes to attach and watch after turning pumps back on
