What exactly is going in with my long tentacle anemone right now? I've only had it for a few days now so this is a little new to me

Acclimating.

It may have been over fed. Anemones will expel what they can not digest. This is way it's best to feed tiny pieces less frequently especially during acclimation. If you have the lighting to maintain an anemone feedings should not be that frequent. Every two weeks or so always worked for me. The anemone looks just a tad bleached, but it has good placement.

Yeah that's probably what happened and I was wondering if it was a little bleached...that's how I got it from the LFS. I saw some people saying that they feed everyday...I'll cut back though. Thanks

Yeah it's looks a little bleached. Coloration is so variable, plus how your lighting and the image makes the subject appear. Looks good in that image.

Would additives such as trace elements and iodine help bring back the coloration or is lighting and feeding the only way?

It just needs to regain/repopulate with it's zooxanthellae type. There is really nothing you can do other than offer good water quality, adequate lighting and the occassional feeding. It take weeks for you to see the coloration change.
