i have 2 btas already i want to add a purple LTA as i have a credit with a vendor and they got one in stock im wondering do they wonder much? i was lucky enough to where my btas stayed in the spot i chose for them also do they like medium or low flow? and do they like to put down straight into the sand or maybe with their foot on rock crevice maybe if i pick the right spot it wont go wondering stinging all my corals

I would have them downstream of your other corals on the sand of possible. They can roam a lot. They are tricky in my opinion as they like lots of light but are on the sand

I've had 3 and they moved initially to find a good spot, but have not moved since. One of mine doesn't like a lot of light and the other is getting high light next to my magnifica. I think they are so beautiful and you absolutely should get one!

To lower chance of moving you can dig a little area in sand next to a rock and it will plant itself in between rock in sand bed. I just bought this beautiful one from aquatic collection

i just pulled the trigger on the purple lta i have 3x 250W plus 8x T5 over my tank so lighting wont be an issue i will try what you suggested a dig hole near a rock and hope he stays in that spot

The lta come today I dug a hole for it but it didnt want to attach it was laying sideways then he moved to the other side of the tank behind the rock work lol

This is with the flow off? Sometimes we don't have control where they end up.
