LTA won't stay away from power head

Ok so my LTA is really starting to get on my nerves as of now he has ben a victim of power heads 3 times the first 2 he got caught in a koralea evo and this time he is in my brand new gyre 130 that I just put in today what can I do to keep him away from the gyre it seems like he is attracted to my power heads

Maybe he wants some extra flow? I'm just speculating, I don't have much experience with nems.

With regular koralias I would have suggested mesh from a media bag or sponge. But the gyre is a whole nother ball game. Not sure if anyone has figured out how to nem proof one yet.

not sure,
i've only had one nem fall victim to a powerhead in the last 10+ years. and that was due to a crashing tank.
i wish i could be of help

ive got an rbta that seems like its attracted to powerheads. it hasnt gotten stuck in it, but itll extend its tentacles up into the flow and ill find pieces of tentacles floating around every once in awhile.
