Looks like you are willing to take time and put LR in small 20 gallon/10 gallon tanks to clean/observe/Quarantine…. I’m a big encourager of having LR in tanks.

This is Gulf Live Rock I purchased over a year ago. I’ve made a few purchases with them and love the rock.

This is in my smaller tanks I used to look at the rock and see what I could see. I took a good 2-3 months doing this and observing. At the beginning I would dunk in buckets of tank water (using the water in QT tanks as I was doing water changes) to wash out the debris of the Gulf and and hitchhikers into the buckets. With multiple small tanks you can use one as the first inspection tank. 2nd/3rd into final inspection tank before transferring LR into the DT. I would “graduate” certain rocks as I went..If that makes sense

What is the difference in Live Rock that makes the decision easier? I have looked I have seen and read tons of articles and to no avail am I any closer to making a decision. When I do find what looks good to me they're always out of stock. I would like to find some rock that has color and inhabitants on it and to help my ecosystem thrive. So looking for input from anyone/ any kind thank you for the list almost all of them are out of stock which is the case for me 9 out of 10 times. Getting frustrated. Local pet stores have bristle worms, so they're out of the question. I have attached a file of where I want to go but I know there is a lot of steps to get there.
