Idk if that’s the best one for the job but it’s all I could afford at the time. Seems to be doing ok.

The pump is my old return pump for the tank. I’ll share pics of that setup as well.

Sometimes it’ll skim dry sometimes wet. Woke up this morning to about a half inch of water in there. I cleaned the cup yesterday. It just depends on what it wants to do lol.

Today when I get home I have to do a water change on the 10 gallon for the albis and the pallifina. They won’t stop spawning lol. I’ve thought of trading them with Atlas and his GF, as the ten gallon has a lot more hides than the 35. I stress every day about the lid situation too, my fault. I should not have gone rimless for them. I think they’ll do fine with the downgrade in size I just have to hunt down any fry that the little guy may have released and hope they’re strong enough for the flow of the 35. Will see. That’s a weekend project though and not a today project. I do need to top the two tens off though since both have screw tops and I can hear the air from the sponge filters.

Currently have the kids dog on a long line inside as he insists on barging through the bedroom door and waking the baby. Russ was up at 3 his mama said so I’m expecting, hopefully at least another hour from him. Sitting here in the floor cause if I move the dog will and o finally got him to sit down. My legs are asleep and I think I broke my toe on the bathroom door frame this morning. XD. Is it Friday yet?

Anyone use the Hydros? Does it run lights? Pumps? I believe it runs skimmers but probably not the kind I have (ac) My pumps are el cheapos too but have a controller of sorts. I’ve no idea how to work them

I have no clue about any of the “controllers” but want to learn.

I use the Timdros... It occasionally runs lights, pumps, and skimmers but no throttling.
