Have you ever bought a something from an LFS or 3rd party, where the seller and yourself didn’t know what it was, and it later turned out to be something valuable? (Not you knew what it was and the seller didn’t)

I bought a large colony of zoas from an LFS over 9 months ago not knowing what they were and only just identified it this weekend after seeing them in the WWC Sale. Turns out I bought a massive chunk of WWC Fortune Cookie Zoas on a live rock that is easily 4x6 inches for only $30!

While not named and not gonna sell any, the below acro was a little brown nub that came into the LFS in a "mixed" sps pack. This was about 1.5 years ago and is now this. Feels good seeing a brown nub color up and thrive.

That is pretty impressive growth from a nub in a year. Did you test your water for steroids or coral growth hormone?
