so I was at a coral dealers house yesterday very reliable guy and scored This red trachy at a whopping $15. He said these just don't do well in his tank for what ever reason and just wanted to pass it along. But I don't know much about them other that what the care sheets you can find on google. So what are some locations you've had success with these. Food choices? The mouth on this thing is crazy, looks like little teeth all the way across. The piece itself is close to 4 inches across.

Best pic ??
For me is near to die
When i have to restore those lps i take out from water for few seconds one drop of amminoacid and then put inside in a place with low flow

It's in a spot with low/ medium flow. Iv only had it for sense yesterday morning so it's still getting use to my tank.

Low flow actinic light only
I dont see the center of the traky
It s very hungry dose lps amino slowly since it start to blow then
Start to feed directly

I'm running mostly antic lighting already, I'll pick some amino acid up and try that. The mouth on it was open this morning. A couple pellets fell into it this morning and it closed right up after. Not sure if they should eat pellets but I didn't mean for it to happen lol. What is the best food for it? I have coral powder food, mysis shrimp, krill, pellets obviously lol.

Above advice sounds good. I have recovered a few in the past. They need the indirect light, low flow, lots of passing food right now. Not big chunks. Keep an eye out for any skeleton or brown spots. Looks like a great coral. I hope it goes well for you.
