I've had a frag of Lunar Eclipse for three months now. Thay are reproducing, but the colors have faded.
I believe that I have the wrong lighting and or intensity.
If you have some Lunar Eclipse, please share with me your lighting and how they are doing.
I'm setting up a second tank and would like to set up the lighting to showcase these palys.
All feed back welcome......

First off what kind of lighting do you have and where are they placed in the tank(low medium high?)

I have mine 15 inches away from T5's in medium flow. Their colors are perfect and vibrant.

Ya I guess that might help...:hammer:
Biocube 29 with 144 watts of PC lighting
14" from lights (I consider moderate lighting)
And probably in a lower flow area..

I have some under MH and under T-5's. mine seem to do better under T-5s with lots and lots of actinic....

They seem to fade and morph on a lot of people. In fact it seems like it's more common for them to do that than to keep the deep purple.

Thanks for the replys guys..
I'll try them higher in my present tank.
Any chance the colors will come back with proper lighting?

Oh yea you can def get the colors back. ;)
