Does anyone run these.
Is it built in to your main light fixture or is it a seperate fixture.
Does anyone have any pictures of these systems running. I wold like to get one but I want to see what it is going to be like before I buy it.

i also want to upgrade to MH's but i am not getting a full size fixture, how many watts will i need for a 29g would 150w be enough
as you can tell i know nothing about MH i just know they are good
but im here to learn

i have these in my canopy:

My 75 gallon tank has the 6 lights and it works perfect. Not too bright. I tried to get some pics of my tank but with my point of sale P&S camera the pics kept coming out black. My tank looks more like the pics with the date 2009/03/02 on it. You can bend each individual light to point it where you want. I have had them for about 16 months with no issues.

Yeah i got a sunpod 150W 14K Phoenix on my 29 cube and it looks great...check out the pics in my profile album!! Getting some custom actinics made soon!!

i did a DIY one from Cathode tube's for lighting on the inside of a computer case. i find it a little too powerful. might have been better off for suppliment lighting but i had t5 for that.

i switched out for these, a lot softer look then the tubes.

those still pretty bright

If you don't run Current Powerbrites, you're missing out!!! Like you wouldn't believe!! They make your tank what you always wish it was. Seriously. Put more on than you think you need, and you'll be blown away.
I admit, it's almost cheating, but it looks so good, who cares? Load them on your tank, and thank me later.

Oh yeah, I dont have any yet. But my next tank will be loaded with them. I've seen plenty of proof to convince me.

I like the pfo moon lights lil bit pricey but well worth it I angle them into the tank from the sides gives a great moon light effect when the Tunze's are making it rock back and forth...

I bought the walleyworld car lights as above but am having a hard time finding the right ac/dc adapter. I bought an adapter for $9 at Menards but it did'nt work. It kept popping out of the adapter.

Which exact adapter did you guys get? Does it have to be for 1 amp or can it be less?
I'm wondering if this one will work?
