I was looking to add some blue/lunar lights to my 29 gallon, but didn’t wanna break the bank.
I bought some True Lumens 453 Blue Actinic LED’s, 12 volt transformer, an aluminum channel for the light bar and some Velcro.

I cut the aluminum channel to fit and painted a high gloss black.

Chopped the connectors off as they were way to long and soldered the wires together. I used shrink tubes on every joint as well as with SAP tape (self-amalgamating tape) to ensure the joints are water proof. Then wrapped each joint in vinyl tape.

I originally only had the two blue/lunar led’s, but decided to add one 12000 k lunar led,

Lights on

Nothing too crazy, but im pretty happy how it turned out!!
