Lunatus Fairy Wrasse

There is a Japanese one and a Philippine one. They are 2 species in a complex that also includes C. johnsoni, squirei, brunneus and cf. lanceolatus.

Reefbuilders did an article on the complex a couple of weeks ago with plenty of pics.
 
Im confused more now. The article doesn't state it is the Philippines and that it is almost exclusively found in Japan. My question is, I have seen them prices from $150 to $600 and they look the same.
 
Philippines are more common and priced closer to $150, Japanese ones are more expensive and don't reach the U.S. as frequently.

It is hypothesized that they may be 2 different species.
