I’m a leaf on the wind watch me soar
Hi all, I've been lurking here a bit reading and catching up on the hobby. After being away from the hobby for 20 years I reset to virgin status with all the changes and advances.
I've been taking in as much as possible getting ready to retake the plunge and have found this site very helpful to date so thanks to all who have posted up so much guidance and insights.
Today took the first step and picked up a new too me tank. Found a great deal on a 75 gallon tank that came with sump, metal halide lighting, uv sterilizer, skimmer, base rock,tons of chemicals and stuff I'm still going thru to get an accurate inventory to see what I may be missing for starting it up.
I still have some research to do on what to keep to or upgrade right away from what I got and will also be putting in a dedicated 20 amp circuit so a build thread is still a ways off but will happen.
Looking forward to this adventure and being part of the community.
