Hello!

Long time lurker and finally a new member. I have only had freshwater setups to date and have been researching and planning (plus buying) items to start a salt/reef tank. After the initial costs of all new items, I started to lean toward rehoming an already established tank; I scored. Many of the items listed below came with the tank, I have added a few things since getting it 4 weeks ago.

Equipment: 75-gallon tank, 2 Reef (Nicrew) LED lights, 2 heaters, Marineland internal canister filter, Ton of live rock, The huge pirate ship (grew on me, but going to sell), 2 Wavemakers

Sealife (fish, corals, inverts): 6 coral, 8 fish (2 Mocha clowns, 1 Gold nugget maroon clown, 1 leopard wrasse, 1 watchman Goby, 1 scopas tang, 1 Fiji blue devil damsel, 1 Strawberry basslet), 2 eels (1 snowflake, other unknown - greenish-yellow), 1 blood red shrimp, 1 fire scallop, 25 hermit crab/snail blend

Let me know your thoughts, questions, or even recommendations!!!

welcome aboard the r2r board! i’m loving that ship!
Thank you! All of the fish love it. They all (except for 1 clown that homes with the Anemone) sleep in the ship and come out when the lights come on in the morning. That's why its hard for me to get, rid of it.

Welcome to R2R tip for saltwater over fresh is don't let the saltwater go down your viewing panes into the facia plastic at the bottom as it dries itself it will leave a salty crust in between your viewing panes and itself that is almost impossible to remove.

As for the ship I'm jealous always wanted to get one for my tank or a plane wreck thinking it would be great with zoa's and mushrooms poking out of it, looking forward to seeing your tank in the future, happy reefing.
