Lymph on C. Jordani?

Thoughts? He had a slightly torn tail and I thought it was just healing with little white growth. It comes and goes daily if seems. Then about a week ago I noticed he also has a white mark on his bottom lip. He has gone through TTM and prazi. I have had him in QT by himself for about 6 weeks. He eats like a pig but can be a little skittish. I have been adding vitamins to the food.

Honestly I think he bumped his lip but am curious on thoughts about the tail.

Possibly marine lymphocystis, its a viral infection that you can't really do much about except keep the fish well nourished and maintain pristine water conditions

Yeah that was my thinking. I've dealt with it over the years. Back in the early 90s I had a big purple tang in a FOWLR that I used to pull out of the tank, place on a soft cloth and lightly scrap it off. It worked but that was the advice way back then.

I'll just monitor for another week and feed more vitamins and then release him. Thanks.

I agree, it looks like lympho. Look at the pectoral fins on this flame. Look the same? This fish did great and it went away in a few weeks

Thanks. Yeah I am sure he is a little stressed in the QT environment and getting him out of there would relieve some of that. I'll just keep pumping him with Selcon and Lipo-Garlic
