Tang has been in cupramine for a week now and is doing very well, but I noticed this on it’s fin today.

What is funny to me - if you had to pick the most difficult fish to see 'Ich' - a gem tang would probably it (or maybe a pure white fish) lol. I also can't see the movie. I agree with the others at this point, it looks like lymphocystis - but I would keep a sharp eye out. A very nice fish.

Do you have any explanation as to why lympho is more common when fish go through copper. My guess was copper weakens the immune system but I’m not sure

Lympho typically pops up as a result of stress, poor diet, and/or poor water params. My understanding is that in qt it’s easy for stress and poor water to cause a problem.
