Lymphocytes??

This clownfish is in tank for about 10 days and has this beard on chin for last 3-4 days , it started with when his mouth remained open for about 12 hrs and then it closed when I feed him 3 days back .
I started reading and came across Lymphocytes which is exactly what my clown suffers .
Have read and it suggest no treatment , any other advises

#Lymphocystis , he his eating and fed twice daily , ofcourse he isn't the same like before this disease but he swims all day and goes for food whenever it's feeding time .

It could be lympho, which the only thing you can do is maintain pristine water conditions, and feed vitamin soaked foods.

It's hard to see in pics. It could also be a bacterial infection.

This exactly. I’d monitor it, and if it starts to grow over the mouth it’ll require a scraping with a razor blade to remove enough so that the fish can still eat.

I have one time. It’s easier than it sounds, you just need to pin the fish down. I used a book.

What are his chances of survival if I let him be the way he is ?
Will this spread to other fishes ?

No only do surgery if it covers gills or mouth which would obviously impact the fish’s ability to breathe and/or eat.

His chances for survival are quite high lympho is almost never fatal.

It is a virus but most fish with healthy immune systems will not show symptoms.

Fish tend to heal from lympho in a few weeks to 6 months. In my experience it’s usually 30-120 days.

Hi @4FordFamily will you suggest any additional vitamin to be given with food .
I feed hikari S with ocean nutrition formula 2 flakes , I also have Nls max but they don't like it since pellet size is 1mm .
Hikari seaweed extreme and Nls thera A+ small fish are expected in another 3-4 days .
If there is any good vitamin which can help recover faster pls advise

Of those I am familiar with vitality. I use zoecon, selcon, and vita chem. I soak microwave and strain frozen foods and soak in these vitamins and make my mix every 4-6 days, keep refrigerated.

Hit another road block today , my clownfish started showing signs of recovery and the lymphocytes on his chin also seems to have become smaller .
My regal tang is swimming towards rocks and trying to scratch against same , no lethargy or loss of appetite though started checking my parameters log also equipments to find out my new fluval heater isn't working for last 2 days .
Will keep him on close watch , my set up is Fowlr no invertebrates or corals ,
1)will it be advisable to execute hyposalinity if ich shows ,
2)can I do hyposalinity in my DT if So how soon to drop salinity .
3)Will hyposalinity standalone be able to eradicate ich from my tank if I keep it at hyposalinity for 8 weeks

Couple things for you here:

I would do a 5min FW dip on the hippo if it's scratching. Eliminate the possibility of flukes.

Hypo should work in erradication of ich. So long as you maintian the proper salinity etc.

You will want to closely monitor PH during hypo and may have to adjust it upward. The link by @Humblefish has instructions on how to do so.

Fish don't care how fast you drop the salinity, it's when you are finished with treatment and begin to raise it that you need to slowly increase by topping off with SW instead of fresh.

30 day treatment duration should be sufficient.
