Hello!
I have a Naso tang in a 20g QT. He developed this white flake on his around day 4 and it’s grown slightly since. He is eating pellets, sinking wagers and mysis shrimp like a champ. (He still refuses NORI both green and purple)
His tankmates are two cardinals. Tank is fully cycled. He’s been in therapeutic copper (copper power measured with a Hanna checker) for about ten days (going to 30). Water is being changed weekly, predosed at the therapeutic range. He’s been on pellets soaked with GC, selcon and focus during this time. I am also on day 8 of treating the water with metroplex Every 48 hours with one dose replaced with GC on day 6. (Day 1 metro,D3 metro, D5 GC, D7 WC metro).
The only issue I’ve had is the tank runs a little warm (around 80F)
Salinity is 1.025, pH is 8.4. Amm 0, nitrite 0. I haven’t measured the nitrates but have been doing weekly water 20% changes so haven’t been worried about them.
What is this white flake on his fin? Thank you!!!
