I recently bought five Lyretail Anthias online. They came in healthy and in great shape but these are my first Anthias. How long will that top dorsal fin or spike become when they transitioning from female to male? Is it noticeably different or are there other changes i can identify more easily? Four out of the five have the initial larger fin and i want to make sure that they are all indeed females. I have read on some forums that it can take anywhere 2 to 3 weeks for them to start to change sex. All of them are the same color, pink with orange tail.
