Lunch for my CUC . Now if it's a whale of a fish. Remove

Nothing to do but wait. Sometimes they are just hiding and come back out. If they died, the cuc takes case of it before I ever see the body.

If your tank is open top, check the floors.

If you have an open overflow, check in there.

Sure enough flame hawk disappeared, and yes he is in the overflow. I'm going to try and fish him out now. Worst case he will go down the drain and end up in a filter sock and I'll get stung by a bristle worm. Since I'm replying again, the longest I've ever gone without seeing a fish is about 6 months. A tiny yasha goby in a 90g tank. The largest fish I ever had go missing without a trace was an adult Chevron Tang I had for 7+ years died when I went away for 3 days. I think eventually a few bones did appear but there was nothing at all left and no ill effects from his death other then a sad reef keeper.
