She made it through fine. The doctor said there was no problem. When they brought her to her room she was still kinda groggy and still in a lot of pain. She has a morphine button to press when it gets bad. Therapy starts in the morning at 9:30.

Best of luck to y'all. Mom had it done a year ago after putting it off for a few years because she was scared to have it done. A year later, at 70, she says it was one of the best things she's ever done in her life due to the improvement in her quality of life.

Glad she made it through without problems Harry. My dad had problems with his knee replacement, but I think it was mainly due to him not doing rehab like he was suppose too

Yeah, all of the people we have talked to told you that if you don't want to do the therapy don't do the surgery. She's still under the medication from surgery (some kind of "block") that she not able to straighten the knee so she can't stand on it. The nurses say that not unusual for some people to take a day or so for it to wear off. Hoping tomorrow will be a better day.

She's doing as well as can be expected, actually a little better. She's in a good bit of pain but we have pills for that. Home health nurse comes every other day and says she's doing fine. We do exercises three times a day and she gets around on the walker very well. Thanx for asking!
