I'm sorry I don't know, but I do know it was sitting around more often then used. Also, it was usually plugged in when used.

FYI the battery cycles About This Mac -> System Report -> Power -> Battery Cycles. Its how many full charges the battery has gone through in the lifetime of the computer, which is a pretty relevant point to purchasing a used laptop.
