So, ignoring the "if you have to ask you don't want to know" rule. Does anyone know the ballpark estimate of how much the Macculloch's Clown (A. Mccullochi) actually cost? Just curious.

depends on the retail store, but probably in the 400-450 range.
Prices vary on them considerable, wholesale is considerably lower than what they are selling them for, so if you go through a local LFS that can purchase fish and corals from ORA, you have a chance of saving around $100 on each fish...

Thanks for the answers! It's not nearly what I thought. The website posted two and three thousand price tags on fish, but said to email them for the price on these.
That's wild caught if they can get them, which 9:10 times won't happen unless they are a very well put together operation. The ones I and others are posting about are captive raised, don't pay more than $400 a fish. I really want a wild pair, but I don't for see myself spending $6,000 on fish when I want a new camera...

Oh they weren't posting that much on the mach's. It was on other fish.

They cannot be collected in the wild anymore. The place near Aussie where they come from is protected. Only way to get a WC pair is to find some that wondered from the protected area or a cb pair. Or a poacher.
