Sooo i finally got the Seneye Reef hooked up and working properly , and i must say i like it Very Much !!
My ph is i think very stable , not falling under 8.04 at night and a high of 8.3 in the day !!
Very impressed with the PAR meter took Some readings yesterday was hitting as high as 260 in one place on the bottom (see foto’s ) so ive now dialed back my whites a bit , but ive got Some good growth going , i have a couple of small montipora forest fire pieces that are finally starting too color up ..Nice growth and good PÉ !!
Tomorow i get my Triton test results , bit curious but Im gonna follow Their fine tuning advice and add what they advise!
On a sad note .... I lost my yellow doctor fish on Saturday .. woke up and he was dead .. he seemed perfectly fine on Friday always a good eater, never had any problems with stip or others in my tank all fish are healthy..he had no unusual marks or spots only thing I did was add a Royal gamma fish on Friday and he’s doing great !

IMO , new school would say just a little bit too much. Old school would say more and add a MH.

I think you've got a pretty good balance. Lots of spots to move stuff around and play with high and low light. A couple nice hot spots on the sand for the clam.

Man. You like a blue tank. Lol.

#19. Have you ever tested par at the surface on the B 72. And the #20 night blue?

Sounds about right. You have pulled the lenses yea?
No I haven’t .. but I have opened them up too look inside and clean the dust of the fans and back of the heat sink .. I did notice they had siliconed around the inside casing and that put me off going further , without having new silicone to put back

No worries. Just a curious question. It changes the characteristics of the fall off of the light.

On the night blue question agin just curious. Most won't realize the par from those is little to none even though you can still see it perfectly

Ok so having my blues so high won’t do any harm then ..

Jason,
Sorry about your fish but you've got the reef humming and thanks for sharing.

I was curious what your response was going to be, to @saltyfilmfolks , about removing the lenses.

I will never dog Salty about a black box, again :D
Proofs in the Pudding ;Woot ;Woot

So happy for you!!!
