Just wondering how many people are attnding MACNA this year. Typically, by now there is a lot of posts about MACNA but I have not seen many so far.

I realize that Labor Day weekend can be rather busy for many people. Therefore, I am wondering if the date of the expo (Labor Day weekend) has anything to do with people attending or not attending MACNA this year?
Gary

That's not stopping me!!!
I am hopefully flying out on the 2nd, my birthday :D WOOT!!!!!

Are you going Gary?

That will be a great birthday! We planned on being a vendor at MACNA, just want to make sure that the date will not be a problem for people.

I'm going. I'm pretty local so may as well!

Maybe I'll bring the Toxic Lavas I got from you and I'll show you the new baby that's ready to open any day now.... ;)

The how am I getting coral home does it for me. I mean for me and the gf to fly down, room and ticket is go na be like 900 food 4-500 to nice dinners. It's not worth the 1300 to me when I don't have a deffinate way to get the coral home.

I'll be there.

there is already a thread with a lot of posts about who is going to MACNA and about meeting up and getting Reef2Reef shirts and all.

Might want to continue this ther so we don't have 2 threads doing the same thing.

Well, you have friends in FL don't you? I'd personally be willing to hold coral and ship them back home to people once they've arrived home.
I'm sure that others that you're more familiar with on this board would also be willing to help you out with that.

I am not going to MACNA because I have to work the whole weekend. I work for a very busy Vet Hospital in the Kennel so holiday weekends are crazy. I did take thur. off work to volunteer and help everyone setup or what ever MACNA needs me to do. Can't go to the show but I love the hobby so much i will help out for free. So if you see a guy with an Abraham Lincoln beard come say whats up....lol

I'll be there. I've never been to Florida, so this is my excuse. :)

Good to see that people are going to make it! I was afraid that the holiday weekend would stop some people from attending.

UFfishingirl, with you being local, you don't have to pay for a hotel nor a flight. You can even brown bag it. Find a way to make the extra money needed to get in the door. You'll have a great time.

If your coming to MACNA think about coming early or staying an extra day to take advantage of two exciting tours we are offering:

Thursday 9/2 - Behind-The-Scenes Tour - Manta Aquarium - Sea World
Behind-the-scenes tours of the new Manta attraction aquarium tanks at SeaWorld Theme Park will be available to MACNA attendees on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 1:00pm.
