If anyone has any questions on any of the new products . I did ask a lot of questions. So ill do my best.
For those of you who have never been to MACNA,its great place to meet everyone, See some cool equipment, and some of the nicest corals you will ever see. Now thats all great. But for all the pro's there are always some cons. Now most of you all know me for skimmer reviews and I pretty much tell it how it is. good or bad, Well same with MACNA . The only Bad I have found is in People. Some people in the hobby I have always had a lot of respect for. After talking with a few of these people I have found them to be pretty full of themselves. I even saw a vendor try to steal another vendors product. Kind of crazy. I wont mention any names of those who I just didnt care for.
Now, With all that being said I met some people That are just simply Good people. Liftime friends in the hobby for sure. Simply put, Folks you are proud to be associated with. Those that stand out are Rev and his wife and daughter. Pleasure to meet them all, Justin from Avast Super nice guy, The folks at SPS, ORA, marco rocks, All the folks at the cherry corals and reefkoi booths and premium aquatics.Also THe couple at HOC House of Coral. Those are just the ones that stick out. Lots of great people for sure. Thank you to all that took the time out of your day to chat with me for while.
I am really glad I went. Learned alot more about the business side of things for me. Some of the speakers knew more about the Marine biology and the hobby than I could ever understand. Some of the others were just ok in my opinion. Not everyone is a good public speaker. So I understand how it can be hard for some folks to get up in front of 100 plus people and talk .
I will probably not go to MACNA next year. Not unless I can swing bringing my wife and baby. Flying out will really add to the cost.

it is going to pretty much do everything in your house. Wash your car, clean the house ect... Jk but really this thing is open source and will let you program it however you want to do what ever you want. Amazing looking controller. Price is expected to be in the 700 to 1000 range from what I understood.

this is how you load a 60g cube in a honda civic.... lol 500 miles home like this...
too funny.
we were given a bungee cord that got us to a gas station where we bought a ratchet strap that got us the other 480 miles home...

I talked with Jon at MACNA. All the new pinwheel assemblies will be installed then they will be available. I was able to pick up my new one for the 2000 pump while I was there. The wheel is the same, So same performance. The magnet is longer and provides more starting torque. Just got mine installed and it does help quite a bit.
So I would give Jon a call. I think he wants to make sure everything is perfect before releasing them. But I would say within 6 weeks they would expect to start seeing them popup

What is the coverage of the radion light fixture looking to cover a 30x30 cube. I have seen a 12 inch 200 vertex illumina which seemed to give great coverage. Other option is 2 ai blue sols at the cheaper price. And nor they have the radian. Which would you think is the better choice? I am looking to spend $700-900 dollars. Thanks in advance
