MACNA 2015 - Washington D.C.

At the meeting tonight, CountryBob and I were discussing who was going to MACNA. I mentioned how Captc07 and I were also going and were going to take the train. We thought it would be neat to see if anyone else wanted to go down with us. Nothing formal. Just good company and good times.

We are getting a room at the hotel the conference is being held at, just feel it's easier than staying at a different hotel. Less traveling around and more sleeping in. LOL

I might try and work it out. My brother in law lives in DC and his place is less than 15 mins away on the metro.

Rooms at the host hotel are running about $125.
Conference passes for all the events are currently $109
Train tickets if you pick up the train in New Haven seem to be about $130 a person for the round trip.

I wanna go so bad!! I might have to take a "business trip" to DC during that time frame.... Or maybe my wife will surprise me and wanna go IDK I'll have to ask her what's going on around that time. She is the social coordinator for most things.

I was posting the AAA Fuel Calculator for the trip from Hartford to DC. Just trying to figure out if it's better to drive with a few people or take the train..

We will most likely be going down to MACNA. I would definitely drive. We may even have to bring the kids unless we can convince the grandparents to take them for the whole weekend
