MACNA raffle tank 300gal---24hrs. later
SORRY, HAD THIS POSTED ON RC THE NEXT DAY, JUST NOW GETTING IT ON HERE.
Hey everyone, just spent the day helping my friend Jason Fox set up the 300 gallon tank from the MACNA raffle this past weekend. We had to move a 200 gallon tank out of the way for the 300 to take its place(the tank was completely full when we did it, we used big floor jacks to move it little by little). Jason built the stand for the 200 and it held through being moved like that. It would have been a big mess and we would have had to move much quicker to save everything, if it did not, but thankfully it worked. We then brought the tank and stand down in his basement with the help of 3 other guys. After we ate we started to pull water from the 200 and put it in the 300, we transfered all the fish and corals in about and hour or so. We couldn't fill it all the way yet, Jason had to go to Lowes for some pieces to complete the drain portion of the pumbing(he is using all the bulkhead holes for drains, so all 4 will connect to one big pipe, then go to the sump). I had to go home before we were finished, but he should have gotten it done by the time I got home. I am sure it is running all out by now. Here are a couple of pics of the tank, sorry for the poor quality, I only have a cheap camera. I hope you enjoy them.
