Today was much of the same in terms of hardware updates.
After installing the anti-siphon valve backwards (and then fixing it), I got the ATO system working. The AutoAqua Smart ATO Nano is a neat little device. We’ll see how it holds up long term, but so far no complaints.
The InTank Aquatics media chamber arrived today, too. The instructions online say that it’s very easy to remove the bracket holding the stock filter stock. I would not describe the process as easy haha. I really had to dig at the silicone with a box knife and forcefully rock the bracket to snap it off. If you have this tank, do not be afraid of getting a little physical with the bracket! And you only need to remove the one that is directly beneath the overflow.
Lastly, with all the hardware installed in the back of the tank, decided to add the
@Kraken Reef lid to the tank. This thing is great. If you are looking for a lid this is highly recommended! It is solidly built and very high quality. Also really like the overflow screen that they sell, too.
