macro algae id?

I noticed this small round purple colored ball growing in the back wall of my tank. A few days ago I noticed that it had electric red colored spots all over it.
It's pretty cool looking whatever it is.
It's about 1/2" in dia.

Anyone care to id. it?

I'm thinking some sort of Tunicate; definitely not a macro algae at least.

Found some more growing in a corner.

Now those look like red bubble algae; now I'm no longer sure what I was looking at in the first picture.

The second picture doesn't show it, but they have the same fluorescent red spots on them, as the one in the first picture.

Yeah, at first I thought it was some sort of encrusting Monti.

Marty, I had and have the same ones in my Fuge currently. Have thought it to be a type of coraline algae growing over the Red Bubble Algae but never for sure.
