I just got LED lights and I'm wondering if they will support macro algae? They're not the super strong ones for coral since I'm just going to do a 29 gallon with two seahorses. But I know macro algae is benificial so will regular LED lights work with it?

Thanks in advance!

Its hard to say with out knowing what lights you are speaking of. I purchased ones a while back that were something like 9 watts. I was hoping to use them on a small fuge but they were crap and I would not recommend them to anyone

The LED is Marineland "Single Bright LED Lighting System" Blue & White 60mW LEDs 300 Lumens. White light during the day and a switch for blue at night.
