Apparently as of 1/1/2024 it is illegal for residents of California to purchase, sell, import or give any species of Caulerpa. So our recommendation would be for CA residents to not order it.

At this point I do not culture anything with it. Only think in their cultures is the Macro and nutrients. We are working toward a refugium pack, but we are still in the process of expansion for the added components.

Macros + pods is definitely a winning combination. A Chaeto-Pod pack or even a Pom Pom-Pod pack would be pretty awesome, shipped together in a plastic container that's just "add to sump + done" (pom pom could be rooted to a shell or rubble if you want to make things super easy).

Couple of issues with culturing them together in my opinion. Would need to dose phyto for the pods, which would compete for the nutrients that the macro is using. Also not sure how much the amphipods would consume, but maybe they don’t eat macro, not sure but they are thick as thieves in my fuge with chaeto.
