Can someone identify this and does anyone have a solution?

Looks like GHA (green hair algea) or biprosis manual removal is best with siphon to remove it with the nitrates that it holds. But if it gets to be out of hand you can try a fluxconazole treatment.

It's connected to a frag so should I just remove the frag plug and cut with scissors?
