Ok, so the issue is I am starting to get the purple/pink algae on the frt of my aquarium & am about to use some vibrant to get rid of it altogether. I have used multiple scrapers for my size thickness & bigger to no avail. the list includes most of the preferred scrapers.
Mag Float
Tunze Care Magnet
AlgaeFree Great White Plus

Mighty Magnets
So, should I just wipe it all out using vibrant or is there a scrapper that will remove it. Tank is Acrylic
Thanks in advance.

As far as I know metal needs to be used on coraline. I use a freash razor blade on my tank but it is glass. I keep a shallow angle against the glass and go slowly.

Mighty Magnets show on their website that there's will clean encrusted algea with the add-ons they sell & I have those also. Can't use steel on acrylic.

Mighty magnets algae doser pad

Then get the Cutter Bag. It is actually what i use for weekly cleaning. With the strong magnet it will take off coralline

Weird. My tank is 1" thick and i use the F6

That's why I started this thread, I can't figure it out. I've been working on it for weeks but I get to tired after spending 30 mins scrubbing & it's barely dented
