If you are getting ready to add macro algae to your refungium I strongly suggest that you dip it in flatworm exit. Fresh water dip will probably work too but just going through the treatment for flatworms in a fudge that I can isolate from the rest of the system. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. When I got my macro algae it had two hitchhikers flatworms and Aiptasia. The Aiptasia is easy just pluck it out when you see it. It usually grows on the macro. The main point I want to make is it’s very advisable to have a fudge you can isolate from your tank. A in sump fudge is not a design you can isolate your fudge. I can isolate my fudge from evething else so I did and the flatworms treatment did not affect anything in the display.
