Macro ID? Red fuzzy

I cant load video and no option to download it,alot have this problem on r2r if just share video from phone,as usually video needs to be hosted somewhere.
So myself I find easier to download to you tube then share link here so others can just press and watch.
Some can view videos like way you shared but think only if watching on a pc or something like this I read often.
Pictures in white light with clean glass and phone right upto glass often helps.
Good luck.
I will share a article to see if you anything similar as I'm thinking from your description, cyano or red turf algae but only a guess ^_%

Here the article if you not already read before that is

Ok just tried view your video again and gave Me option to download so downloaded then will delete straight away as phone gets loaded up with others videos from r2r pffft
Don't think is cyano or red turf algae now sewn video.
Almost looks like brown polyps from a soft coral or possibly even hydroids.
If it is a kind off algae @WheatToast is usually good with algaes and @vetteguy53081 is general all round knowledgeable helpfull guy
Some screen shots here for anybody who doesn't want to download the video or no option

Image very off on my phone but could be mermaids cup or clove polyps but can’t tell from images
I’m leaving from MACNA but will view in regular screen later

Definitely not cyano. Don't think it is red turf either

It's not green. More of like a brownish color.

Lol thanks for the screen shots

The way that they each look like they have a mouth- I'm leaning towards hydroid because I don't think I've seen a clove look like that before-Raven
+1. A quick Google search led me to the photosynthetic Myrionema hydriods which seem to be highly problematic in captivity.

I've tried pulling them scrubbing with a brush kalk paste works so so. Worse things I've gotten from a frag by far. Wished I'd known beforehand what they where n I'd tossed the frag out but they're taking over and killed off lots of corals already sadly. I've been so frustrated I've considered getting out because I don't want a tank of just the black plague of reefing. I Bayer dip and tried h2o2 dip before it spread. Also limited lights to few hours a day done multiple blackouts for up to a full 8 days. I'm about to pull a Elvis and shoot the dang tank instead of a tv lol.

+1 on colonial hydroids I've had them come and go without any intervention, but wouldn't leave it to chance if you can remove them now, they just become a pain to clean off of polyps after they are established. I don't think they sting but grow over everything. You clear back a patch and its twice as big the next morning, more troublesome very resistant to blackouts and nutrient deprivation IME.

Yeah they are hydroids. Thanks for the help. I'm laughing because a shop in my area was selling these hydroids attached to a very nice looking blasto for some decent $.
