Macro lens for smart phone?

Yup got the chiller also. When I use the macro lens I have to either picc up the coral and hold it near the surface or put the phone and lens in the water for best results. Without doin it this way pics always come out crappy and blurry. I'm sure it's the same no matter what brand

I have a lg g10 my standard camera app has a manual mode where you can control white balance and exposure and fine tune focusing and takes pretty good pics by itself but it takes horrible pictures with the macro lense it's always blurry and no where near as crisp I tried an iPhone also same way it's like the lense is focusing on the glass any advice besides moving the drags up and going top down? Its blurry no matter where the frag is close to glass mid ways etc

What lens did you get? In the combo kit like I got, the macro lens by itself is only good for about an inch away from the lens. You have to combine it with the wide angle attachment to shoot anything further away than that.

I can only use the macro lens on my iPhone with a life proof case if I want to get ok- decent macro shots. It also works for me on my note 4 if I turn off all flow and hold the coral in my hand, usually hold it by the frag plug, and bring it as close to the surface as possible. I only hold corals like chalice and zoas. Any of my acros and I use the iPhone with life proof so I can get up close and personal.

Those Samsung cameras are killer! I wonder how the iPhone 7 camera will stack up against them.
